Care Containers

Cura Mission provides critical resources in the form of humanitarian aid to the DPRK.

We try to send 40 foot Care Containers to North Korea monthly packed with everything from nutritional bars to gummy vitamins. Our shipping partner deftly handles the logistics and the DPRK entity with whom we work distributes the goods to the specified orphanages. Together we provide donor reports detailing the number of items received, where they were delivered, and how many orphans benefitted. Photos and follow up monitoring trips by a member of Cura’s staff further ensure accountability.

Restricted access into the country means that, when we cannot be there to directly feed and clothe the children, our containers are a constant reminder to them. They are not shadows or a mere afterthought. They are loved so much that we are compelled to care for them from an ocean away.

Care containers are the lifeblood of our work in North Korea. And by leveraging our partnerships, we strive to reduce costs as much as possible so as to serve more with less.

Millions of dollars worth of in-kind donations have been sent to DPRK, including items such as:

  • MannaPack Nutritional Supplements
  • Vitamins and Antibiotics
  • Energy Bars, Dried Fruit, Fortified Rice
  • School Supplies
  • Cement, Steel, and Windows
  • Playground Equipment
  • Bicycles and Scooters
